TFC consists of different departments which are, Managing Director's Office, Finance department, Credit department, Investments Department, Human Resource and Administration department, Public Relations department, Audit department, Legal Services, Procurement department and ICT Department
Managing Director's Office
The role of the Managing Director in the Corporation is to ensure that the company achieves its strategic objectives, to provide leadership and direction to staff members.
The department designs and develops financial policies and strategies and coordinates their effective implementation to ensure compliance and general review. It is also involved in preparation and evaluation of all departmental annual budgets to consolidate the same into the Corporation budget and create systems and procedures for monitoring performance against budget.
The department receives and processes development loan applications to facilitate issuance of loans to meet member's expectations. It also co-ordinates effective implementation of the loan requirements, conditions and procedures to comply with the Corporations guidelines as well as creating and maintaining records of loan applications, approvals and deferred cases for easy records management
The department is charged with liaising with the Government and all stakeholders in the tourism industry on all investment matters. The department as well investigates new investment opportunities and the diversification of existing ones, and develops these concepts for recommendation to market to potential investors.
Human Resource and Administration Department
The department's main objective is to meet the organizational needs of the corporation and the needs of the TFC staff. It serves as the liaison between the corporation and its various constituents. The department also Liaises with other departments for purposes of developing future human needs aligned to organizational goals and objectives.
The department designs, Plans and Coordinates financial operations compliance with policies procedures and control systems of the Corporation within the general framework of financial plans and budgets to enable TFC to attain maximum efficiency in internal and non-financial controls.
